Impacting Kids Through Mentoring!

Winning Futures, the 2007 Innovative Mentoring Program of the Year for Michigan, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that is dedicated to strengthening the impact of mentoring. The organization operates award-winning mentoring programs throughout Metro Detroit and select cities across Michigan. Winning Futures founded and leads an innovative initiative called The Metro Detroit Mentor Collaboration (MDMC).

Winning Futures is a school-based mentoring program for youth 3rd-12th grade based on character values, goal setting, and strategic planning. Adults mentor students throughout the school year. Partnerships are created with schools and organizations to expand programs throughout the state.

The Metro Detroit Mentor Collaboration unites mentoring organizations to enhance their programs through seminars, recruitment initiatives, and mentor celebrations. The MDMC links mentors with agencies that fit their needs. It is an official partner of Mentor Michigan.
