Everyday Hero Award Criteria

The RARE Foundation, through its annual “Everyday Hero” award, recognizes ordinary people in the workplace who are making significant contributions in their life’s work…who go above and beyond their day-to-day responsibilities for the benefit of others in their company, organization or community… and who consistently exhibit the qualities of a role model in their daily lives.

To nominate someone as your Everyday Hero (must be a living resident in the United States), complete the online nomination form. Every hero you nominate will receive a certificate recognizing him/her as your hero. If the person currently lives in Michigan, he/she will be entered into our competition for the Michigan RARE Everyday Hero award. We will notify you and the hero in May if selected to be honored at our annual Night of Heroes event in July.
